This is an MTB trail. Someone who is keen on a series of continuous technical sections, this is the exact match for him. We do not call this a ride to remember. But the ride consists of almost all the technical sections which supposes to include in a professional mountain biking trail except for dirt jumps. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit an ancient temple which belongs to Kandy era during the ride (Need to carry proper dress to visit the temple). The trail falls right through an agriculture farm and the guest will probably have a chance to see the farming activities as well. Riders are required to have basic MTB skills like riding on narrow sections, Downhill, Downhill with steps, single track riding, basic bunny hop capabilities to stay on the saddle during the ride.

Surfing, Weligama

Weligama surf is known as the best beginner surf on the Sri Lanka south coast. Come here to hit the waves with fantastic surf schools. The main Weligama surf spots are all hidden inside Weligama Bay. However, you won’t have to rumble down Matara Road long in a tuk-tuk to discover oodles more. The reefs and points of Midigama are there for the taking if you’re an improving intermediate. Other surf guides will whisk you out to lesser-known SK Town to the east. Basically, this is a good part of Sri Lanka to be based for surfing, no matter your level.

Kite surfing, Kalpitiya

Kalpitiya lagoon has been considered the top kite surfing destination in Sri Lanka. Thanks to its perfectly reliable wind season and near constant stream of 25+ knots. Plenty of pro riders choose the lagoon as a space to train, sometimes even treating the local kite crew to exclusive pro coaching camps. The flat water lagoon comfortably holds 40-45 kiters, after which point it starts to feel a wee bit crowded. Thankfully, when it gets to that stage all you need to do is kite to the edge of the lagoon, pull in that bar, and pop hard enough to send yourself flying over to the ocean side of the sandbar-where there’s always plenty of space.

Snorking, Unawatuna

You don’t need to be a scuba diver to get to know the fascinating world underwater and its splendor. Equipped with mask, snorkel and fins you float on the water surface and watch the vibrant coral reefs, rocks and coral reef-fish below. An intense experience and unforgettable moments. At Unawatuna, we provide Snorkeling in front of the Unawatuna Rocks on boat ride of only five minutes and a duration of round 2 hours. The other Unawatuna Snorkeling Trip is by a boat tour along the Rumassala mountains of around half an hour to the Jungle Bay, close to the Galle harbour. Here you can snorkel from the shore and from the boat. This trip takes around 3 hours in total.

White Water rafting, Kithulgala

Boasting about adventure sporting, Kitulagala is a town located in West of the road from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. It’s a town located in amid tickly forest hills. It has been once a filming place for the David Lean’s 1957 Oscar-winning epic “Bridge on the River Kwai” on the banks of Kelani River. Most visitors for the adventure sporting are from Colombo. The Kitulgala’s main attraction is White water rafting where you can ride the tides of Kelani River. Other than that it’s popular for sports like confidence jump, Stream Sliding, Waterfall abseiling, Jungle trekking. Bird watching and cave exploration and last but not least river trips and expeditions.
